Panayotis League

Panayotis (Paddy) League grew up in a Greek and Irish family with accomplished musicians on both sides. He began playing drums and percussion as a teenager and has since become one of the driving forces behind the revival of both traditional Greek and Irish music around the globe, playing violin, lyra, laouto, bouzouki, mandolin, guitar, bagpipes, and percussion, and singing in various languages.

He has been featured on over 70 recordings and has performed over a thousand concerts throughout Europe, the Near East, and the Americas. Panayotis is also a widely-respected instructor, teaching Mdoern Greek Studies, language, and music at Hellenic College in Brookline, Massachusetts.
